Attached is a summary of information we discussed at the last meeting. It details the issues we are facing and formulating plans to address. Please review the attached document in its entirety. It was decided at the meeting that we would like to move forward together to resolve all these concerns and we have an Attorney identified to help us through it. Since the attorney will not engage with "Dixie Shores Association" because it's not a legal entity, a person or persons will have to engage him on behalf of the neighborhood - and we don't want to leave anyone "holding the bag", therefore, we decided it would be best to raise the monies to cover the legal costs up front. At this time we are asking everyone to consider pledging support for this legal work.This allows everyone to hold onto their monies until we have $10,000 committed and once the number is reached, we can then provide the attorney's address so everyone can send the monies directly to him to be held in retainage. If you are willing to help, please email Executive Committee member Rose Hammer at rose@hi5hammer.com with your name, address and the amount you are willing to commit and she will track our progress. Our next meeting will be September 3rd at 11:00AM at the NC Beauticians and Cosmetologists Lodge on Church Street at 11:00AM.
